Display, Design and Configuration
The Lava Iris X8 carries a 5-inch IPS LCD multi touch HD display packed in a 8.6mm thick outfit with a weight of 160g. The Asahi Dragontrail glass makes sure that the screen stays fresh. On the inside, it is loaded with a 1.4GHz octa-core processor sitting on MediaTek MT6592M chipset. It is aided by a 2GB RAM so that you have the liberty to run demanding tasks. It runs on Android v4.4 KitKat OS.
Camera and Memory
The main camera of the Lava Iris X8 captures 8MP stills and supports dual LED flash and BSI 3 sensor. It is accompanied by a 3MP front facing snapper. It comes with an inbuilt memory of 16GB which is further expandable up to 32GB.
Battery and Connectivity
Keeping the Lava Iris X8 juiced up is a Li-ion battery of 2,500mAh. Moving to the connectivity features, we have 3G, Tethering, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, OTA sync, USB port and Computer sync.
The Lava Iris X8 is a powerful smartphone available at a reasonable price. It carries standard features in all departments with the major attraction being the octa-core CPU working alongside 2GB RAM. Unlike other premium phones, It's not very lightweight though.
